DevOps Days Pittsburgh 2015

DevOps is Alive and Well in the Steel City.

The second annual DevOps Days Pittsburgh was held August 13 & 14, 2015 at the William Pitt Union on University of Pittsburgh’s campus. The two day event brought together a diverse audience of professionals and industry leaders who are looking to adopt DevOps practices and principles, and it proved to be a huge success.

This year’s event followed traditional DevOps Days formats by including a series of key notes, ignite talks, and open space sessions. With a nice blend of practitioners from application development, operations, and security disciplines, there were many insights to be gained. And with keynote topics ranging from ‘Application Orchestration with Kubernetes’ and ‘Security for Humans’ to ‘Busting Silos & Red Tape: DevOps in Federal Government’, there was something for everyone.

Being my first DevOps Days Pittsburgh event, it was nice being able to see some familiar faces as well as getting an opportunity to meet and share with some new friends. Overall, I had a great time and believe the event was an overwhelming success.

Thanks to all the DevOps Days Pittsburgh organizers and sponsors for another great event. See everyone again next year!
